We fit and connect the fan
We mount the fan, wire it in permanently and make sure it sits firmly and works as it should. For a bathroom fan we install it with the right protection for wet rooms and are happy to link it to the lighting or humidity control if you want. If an old fan is being replaced we take care of both removal and connection of the new one. A humidity-controlled fan starts automatically when the humidity rises, and an overrun timer keeps it running for a while after you switch off the light – good bathroom ventilation prevents moisture and mould. If you are doing a bathroom renovation, we are happy to handle the rest of the electrics at the same time, such as spotlights, an illuminated mirror and a heated towel rail.
Safe and to regulations
Both ceiling fans and bathroom fans are permanently wired into the electrical installation and must be fitted by a qualified electrician — especially in bathrooms, where the requirements are stricter. We carry out the work professionally and document it to the requirements of the Swedish National Electrical Safety Board. A bathroom is divided into zones, and each zone requires a certain IP rating for fans and light fittings – we make sure that is right.
