When do you need an electrical inspection?

An electrical inspection is often needed before a sale, for a new build, after a renovation or when you have bought a property and want to know the condition of the electrics. Many people also choose to have regular inspections for peace of mind — especially in older houses where the installation may be dated. If you only want the consumer unit and RCD checked, a simpler electrical safety check is often enough.

What we check

We go through the electrical installation, take measurements and check that everything is safe and professionally executed. Among other things we look at the consumer unit and RCDs, cables and connections, sockets and switches, as well as signs of overloading, moisture or wear. After the inspection you get a clear report with what we found and the actions we recommend. Where needed we add thermal imaging, where a thermal camera reveals overheating connections, and the results are collected in an inspection report.
